Gdańsk will host presidents from the leading trade union confederations of Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic from October 8–10. These leaders plan to address vital regional concerns, including collective bargaining, industrial strategy, and economic competitiveness, while assessing how security threats impact socio-economic stability.

The meeting features Esther Lynch, General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation, who will outline the European labuor movement’s strategic roadmap for the coming years.

The Visegrad Trade Union Group serves as a collaborative platform to amplify the region’s voice within European Union debates. This session is made possible through the International Visegrad Fund’s support as part of the “Strengthening trade union cooperation in the V4 region” initiative.
