Trade unions will appeal the verdict. They consider the Government's steps to be in breach also with European and international legal instruments.
The trade union leaders received the Court injunction on Saturday when entering the Governmental premises on the Prime Minister's invitation to meet, which they received on Friday night.
Trade unionists therefore left the meeting and later declared the strike on Thursday 16th June, however this time for 24 hours (instead of 13 hours as planned before).
The Government declared that it will prepare draft law on regulation of strikes.
At the press conference held on 13th June the trade unionists informed about the strike organisation and strongly protested against the words of the President of the Czech Republic Mr Václav Klaus who criticized trade unions and said that if it were up to him, he would fire the striking workers and contract private transport companies.
